Hey there!
There's a lot of cleaning and sprouting energy in our network - perhaps that's the Spring energy kicking in in the Northern Hemisphere. Let's have a look at what's alive in Enspiral!
🌱
Network Updates
We've migrated our newsletter to Substack. The newsletter is still published in a monthly rhythm, towards the end of the month bringing you updates from our network and the world of meaningful work. If you’re in a wrong place, please forgive us and feel free to unsubscribe.
Our second node (sub-group) is sprouting, and it’s a remote first web3 second Enspiral DAO. Nodes are still very fresh in our network. To get more context you can have a look at our Node Agreement, or this (52m) podcast with Joshua Vial exploring iterations of Enspiral.
Handbook 2023 update - the massive project of updating our open source handbook is almost at the end. For now you can follow along in this twitter thread.
One of the key components of our DNA is sharing money. We are now holding a discussion on our decision-making platform Loomio to explore what should we do with the financial reserves in Enspiral Foundation over the next two years.
Podcast of the Month
Did you know that we have 14 podcast episodes on our youtube channel? After the initial publishing spree, we're shifting gears into publishing episodes in a weekly rhythm (at least for now). Each month I'll pick one to feature in this newsletter.
We have a couple of new people who joined the network this month, so this episode (57min) felt spot on:

In this deep dive with Nick Tucker we explore how to navigate the potentially confusing newcomers experience, including sharing our onboarding experiences, exploring how to keep the web of connection active and recognising the importance of taking responsibility for shaping your own Enspiral experience. Nick put together an (amazing) Newcomers Guide which will be included in the updated handbook.
Note: while this is particularly relevant for Enspiral, the knowledge is definitely cross-transferable to other organisations.
